In The Beginning...

It has officially begun, Ladies and Gentlemen N.M.Y. L.L.C. is at your service (well actually we're just waiting on one more stack of papers to sign). After about 4 months of doing business on the side and without any structure or organization the four acting board members of our four man landscaping company got together and decided to become a L.L.C. I know what you're all thinking why would anyone start a landscaping company in this economy? Well let me just give you three very good reasons why I think our company will be a success

1. All of our employees have been trained and have mastered the art of working in 100+ degree weather (not that there's anything wrong with an office job or no job at all like Kimball). It's just that most people would rather relax and enjoy their air conditioning and why not you've earned it.

2. We will try anything once(when it comes to landscaping). If you have a "guy" that mows your lawn but says he won't pick up the dog poo, I just want to tell you that you deserve better than that.

3a. (Conservatives only, liberals skip to 3b) We are in this to learn a new trade and gain the knowledge to operate a successful small business that can hopefully one day hire cheap labor and pay great dividends to the upper management.

3b. (Liberals only, Conservatives skip to closing) We are trying to create jobs for people that are out of work and less fortunate, to show the world that a 75% minority owned company (1 Mexican, 2 half Filipinos, and 1 Caucasian) can prosper in this country that was founded on the basis of equality for all.

In Closing

This blog will be an account of yards that we restore/create. It will be a place of joy, laughter and tears. We will be posting before and after pictures so that when you hire us you won't have to wonder "what kind of work do these guys do?" The pictures will say it all, or at least a thousand words worth.

At this time I would like to ask for the public input. Maybe we've already done your yard and you would like to leave a short testimony (Mckay, Rich, Mellisa, PB, Nita, Mitch) or maybe you want to inquire further about our services (Talmage, Jade and Amy, Strangers I do not know) or maybe you just want to make fun of me or some of my colleagues, that's okay too.

Gia and I feel that you are 50% minority owned because of the 2 half Filipinos. Therefore, you have 1 Mexican, 1 Filipino, and 2 Caucasians.
Tears are right - I am crying because I'm laughing so hard. Good 1st blog!!!!

I can vouch for the work, my yard looks great. Good stuffs man. I really appreciate the work, I just don't have the time and energy to put into it and you guys made it look real nice. Also, gotta give you guys props for doing something different in this economy to try to start a small business.

I can vouch for your work too. All the weeds are ding, the grass looks like it belongs on a golf course, all the bushes are shaped nicely and everything looks clean. Great job guys!
